Gobble, gobble, gobble… The holiday madness begins in just 4 short days from now with the Thanksgiving holiday.  Hang on tight!

This weekend I’m heading to visit my bestie in NYC to see her prego belly. Can’t wait to see her! She’s due in January and I want to make sure to see her before things get too nutty and there is any risk of it not happening.

Sunday: I’ll be returning from visiting my friend in NYC and the husband will be playing in his soccer finals (at 4PM in NH – ridiculous!). So, I think that’s a recipe for breakfast for dinner (“recipe” – get it?  I’m so funny.)  I’m going to try Banana Oat Greek Yogurt Pancakes.

Monday: Spaghetti Squash Lasagna with Spinach

Tuesday: Stuffed Sweet Bell Peppers

Wednesday: We always celebrate turkey day with my in-laws.  We will arrive Wednesday night and pizza is typically ordered in.  I usually bring something different along for myself.  I have a tough time starting the gluttonous weekend on Wednesday eve with pizza.

Thanksgiving: Everyone brings a contribution or two to the meal.  This year I’m doing a salad with pears, pumpkin seeds and blue cheese, roasted brussel sprouts with slivered onions and craisins and mashed potatoes.
